Structure of Flanged Immersion Heaters:


They are available with ANSI rated flanges with several hairpin or bugle tubular elements to extend from the face of the flanges. They employ direct heat applications to any liquid medium. A thermowell is widely used within the elements for allowing a probe, relay temperature readings to any digital control panel to carefully maintain the preferred target temperature. In addition, a high limit sensor is also utilized in the design for protecting liquid mediums from overheating. 


For generating heat immersed in liquids or gases, these heaters are designed and installed in a tank. For reservoir, tank and circulation flow applications, they are customized in diverse specification, dimensions and lengths. They are also available with different diameters of tubes that are welded or brazed into various types of mounting fittings to make them ideal for commercial and industrial applications.


They are available in custom engineered designs with screw plug immersion heaters, threaded and flanged and installation for different applications. For heating heat transfer fluid, oil, water and corrosive solutions, these easy to monitor and energy efficient heaters are used. In addition, they are very easy to install for providing support to high tank pressures of liquids. They use standard pipe flanges of diverse ranges in diameter and installed through a matching companion flange.


They are developed from varied alloys for maintaining the longevity and resisting corrosion. Steel flanges are ideal for light oils, heavy oils, lubricant oils, low flow gas heating, waxes and mildly corrosive liquids. For harsh to mild corrosive solutions, Stainless steel flanged heating elements are utilized in sanitary and food applications.


The sheath materials are designed from steel, copper, stainless steel and even exotic alloys like titanium, hast alloy and Inconel. Over extreme period to avoid sheath breach titanium is used like salt water for enormously corrosive environments in process, chemical, and military industries.
